Social Media: Author's Book Read
Amazing news! You and your groups have worked so hard on your folklore stories that other students want to hear from you! We will be reading our folktale stories to another 2nd-grade class across the country in California via Skype. Not only will they be listening to our stories, but we will hear their stories as well.
Then we are going to draft some comments about each story onto Padlet, then pick a few to share with the other class through Twitter using our class Twitter account. How exciting that they will see our comments and we can read theirs as well. I cannot wait to see what they have to say about the stories you worked so hard on!

While you are listening to your classmates or Ms. Gallardo's students, please make notes to "fill their bucket" (positive compliments). During each presentation, you will type up your positive message onto our Padlet wall. You do not need to make a Padlet account, rather use the link to get to our public Padlet board.
After all author groups have read their stories we will be sending Tweets to Ms. Gallardo's class from our Twitter account. Please use your name and the author's name so we know who to complement in our Tweets. |
